My name is Leigh (she/her) and I’ve made a home for myself in Wānaka after moving over from Australia in 2024.
My background is in hospital and community Social Work, having worked with adult and youth clients in the mental health, public health, youth justice and youth residential sectors in Australia. It was working with these clients and communities where my passion for social justice and community development was fortified.
In my Herbalism practice I put the person at the centre of the treatment, fostering empowerment, agency and resilience.
About Leigh
What I Value
I see the world as an interconnected web where we each exist as interdependent beings, and in these connections I see that we can foster the relationships and communities between us and the more-than-human world that we are so deeply seeking and needing. In this connected world, I value the continual striving for justice and equity, transparency and openness, inclusion and connection, diversity and curiosity.
